The ring light is a game changer. First impressions are everything. We've seen too many people sit  in front of a window and look like they are in a witness protection program, as their faces are only shown in silhouette. To get the best lighting, put the ring light in front of a window and face it.  It diffuses the light eveningly and makes you stand out among the crowd in a Zoom meeting.

Before having microphones, we sounded like we were in a tin can. Yes, people could hear us clearly. But, the sound was a constant reminder that we were on the other side of a screen. The mics help to restore an in-person feel.  Plus, if your neighbor decides to mow the lawn, the kids forget we are in a session, or our dog pipes up, the mics prevent our audience from hearing every detail of what's happening in the background.

If you don't have healthy snacks in reach, you'll go for the quick sugar or salt fix.  Protein bars keep your energy going longer. That doesn't mean they have to taste like cardboard. We are in love with this chocolate peppermint flavor and can't believe how low they are in sugar.
We know what you're thinking. Why would TALLsmall have a wireless clicker here when we always talk about Death by PowerPoint. This gizmo serves that purpose if you want to put people to sleep. We it to click on and off the live button before we do our live interview segments. That way, your first and last views are not Keith's hand reaching at the screen.
Until we found our new coffee maker, our sink drain drank as much coffee as we did. The coffee in our old carafe got cold fast, and who wants cold coffee. With this stainless carafe, your coffee stays warm much longer. The amount of coffee we are saving will pay for the coffee maker in no time.

We keep our mic extension cables (20 feet) in control by wrapping them and securing each with a velcro twist tie. The ties keep our cables from getting entangled when we're not watching.

We finally caved after wasting our money on cheapo coffee cups and splurged on matching TALL and small Yeti ones. Our coffee stays hot throughout our workshops and our energy stays freakishly high too.
